Our Offer

Access to energy is a pre-requisite for sustainable economic and social development. However, significant inequalities in energy access persist, often due to products being unaffordable for marginalised population groups.

Through its component Energy Access through Demand-Side Subsidies (DSS), Energising Development (EnDev) is piloting DSS mechanisms to promote access to subsidised solar home systems or improved / clean cookstoves for marginalised households (incl. refugees and host communities), while minimising market distortion and encouraging collaboration with the private sector.

The EnDev partnership is a joint results-oriented global programme of Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland. EnDev's objective is to provide access to modern energy services for households, social institutions as well as small and medium sized enterprises.

The EnDev project is entering the final phase, concluding in December 2026. To support a smooth and effective closure of the DSS component, EnDev now seeks an intern to strengthen its capacities at headquarters.
