Alongside steady business with the European Union and private sector, the department has recently recorded significant growth in business with German public clients.

Delivering tangible results and value for its clients that are both economically viable and sustainable is at the core of InS. These projects generate jobs, promote gender equality, combat climate change, and improve living conditions. Business at GIZ InS comes in many forms, and each market segment adds value in achieving GIZ’s vision of shaping a just and sustainable world.

InS is implementing its Strategy 2030, with a strong emphasis on positioning, strategic outreach, and advocacy in priority sectors. Within this framework, the Global Health Service Portfolio develops innovative service offerings at the intersection of global health, health systems strengthening, international cooperation, and market-based approaches. As the portfolio moves into the implementation and market rollout phase, we are looking for a motivated intern with a strong interest in global health, health systems, and market intelligence, and with curiosity about how public, philanthropic, and private actors interact in international health markets.
