Job description

The project Women Empowerment for Wellbeing (WoW) was launched in November 2023 on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). WoW is focused on women’s empowerment and inclusion. The project objective is to strengthen the rights, resources and representation of marginalised, displaced and conflict-affected women in the South Caucasus.
The project’s objective will be achieved through: (1) Institutional capacity development for state and non-state actors for a needs-based provision of social services, (2) Improvement of the economic perspectives of marginalised, displaced and conflict-affected persons, especially women with SMEs support/employment promotion measures, (3) Promotion of community-based initiatives, networking activities and small projects that address social cohesion, interests and needs, the strengthening of resilience, and the socioeconomic participation of marginalised, displaced and conflict-affected persons and local communities. 

Your tasks

  • Overall: Support in project implementation and progress report drafting process
  • Contributions to content and drafting of the project report
  • Report writing
  • Translation
  • Support in project implementation
  • Organisation of meetings
  • Draft of minutes
  • Communication/liaison with different stakeholders
  • Support in update of knowledge management system

Your profile

  •  Bachelor’s degree preferably in development studies, gender studies, migration studies, international relations, social sciences or another related field
  •  Volunteering experiences/internships are considered an asset
  •  Good knowledge of MS office
  •  Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection such as face-to-face interviews, focus group discussions and in-depth interviews will be considered as an advantage
